Paul Bettencourt

Paul Bettencourt was elected to the Texas Senate in 2014 and represents Senate District 7, which includes parts of Harris and Montgomery counties. He served as Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector from 1998 to 2008 and is widely known for his work on property tax reform. He chairs the Senate Committee on Local Government.
